Tak dapat nak dibayangkan kakitangan kerajaan macam saya ni yang sekarang dgn GL dpt bantu orang tua termasuk mertua mendapatkan rawatan utk meneruskan sisa sisa kehidupan di sana.
kalau Sime Darby dah pegang 51% dah tentu sebulan gaji saya tak dapat nak tampung kos ubat-ubatan mereka. Ni tak termasuk lagi kos rawatan kalau perlu masuk wad.
apakah rasionalnya? Sejuk sikit bila baca Najib kata ditangguhkan tapi bukan dibatalkan!!!!

SPM Mania
i was talking to my 2nd girl just now over the phone. Has been my habit of calling her and asked her how was the paper she just sat.
today is the Biology day, the subject that hated most by her. I was glad to hear that she said it was fine for her as she consider it ok except for the third paper.
i was really impressed with her as she has been putting so much effort for her studies so far and was confident all the way through.
tomorrow is another day as Physic will be the subject and Account will be the last. My prayers will always be with her and may Allah bless her with a good result later.
to adik, May Allah gives you a good health and strenght for this SPM.
Wishing you All the Best as the war approaching the end. Straight A1 will be yours later, insyaallah. Loved.

panggilah Ka'abah
this saturday i will be heading back to my kampung as my youngest brother (with red sampin) will be holding some prayer before making his way to Mecca to perform his Haj along wth his wife.among all the five brothers, i will be left alone as the only one yang tak pi perform the Haji yet. Insyaallah, god willing i will be there soonest (next year). Couldn't make it this year as two of my daughters are sitting for their PMR and SPM. Of course my obligation is being with them when they needed me most in order for them to be comfotrtable. My presence will also served them the courage to do well in their exam.
my prayers is May my bro and sis in law will be able to get Haji Mabrur and given a good health by Allah the Al-Mighty. May they have a safe journey to the Holy land and also back home to their family later.
of course they will miss their childrens esp the youngest but we will make sure the ones left behind being well taken care off.
so, to adik please pray for me to be there next year and of course with your in-law. Insyaallah.

tercabar lagikah kita?
PKNS telah memecah tradisi dengan melantik Madam Low sbg Pemangku Pengurus Besarnya. Ianya telah disahkan oleh MB Selangor dengan mengatakan bahawa ianya merupakan tindakan sementara sahaja dan untuk jangkamasa 1 tahun shj.
sebelum ini ianya tidak pernah diterajui oleh orang bukan Melayu. Ketua Pemuda PAS Selangor,Sallehin Mukhyi telah mengeluarkan kenyataan meminta MB mengkaji semula rekod sebelum ini di mana tidak pernah ada sebuah agensi kerajaan negeri seperti PKNS diterajui oleh bukan Melayu.
hari ini di dada akhbar terpampang pula kenyataan oleh MCA yang meminta 30% ekuiti bumiputera di dalam syarikat-syarikat senaraian dihapuskan. Gesaan ini dibuat bagi membolehkan syarikat terus berdaya maju dan bersaing di pasaran global.
dua (2) berita ini begitu memeranjatkan saya. Ingin saya mendengar bukan keluhan tetapi pembelaan yang akan dilakukan oleh pemimpin2 Melayu baik di dalam kerajaan mau pun di luar kerajaan mengenai isu ini. Semoga mereka tidak hanya sibuk berpolitik semata-mata tetapi tolonglah lihat akan apa yang berlaku disekeliling kita.
pastinya anak2 cucu kita nanti tidak mahu kita tinggalkan sebagai pendatang dan penumpang di tanah air yang dahulunya dikenali sebagai Tanah Melayu.

apakah akan ada kerasian
saya sengaja memilih gambar tun mahathir dgn tok guru nik aziz sebagai pencetus tulisan saya kali ini. Saolan yang bermain di benak ketika ini ialah akan adakah kerasian antara kelompok yang mereka wakili.kalau dahulu tun merupakan seorang PM melalui parti UMNO yang diterajuinya tetapi sekarang tidak lagi. Beliau sudah tidak lagi berada di dalam kerajaan dan juga parti yang pernah diterajuinya.
beliau kini sering dikritik bila memberikan pandangan oleh mereka yang satu masa dahulu menjadi sekutu kuatnya. Inilah lumrah alam.
mahathir dan nik aziz masing-masing mempunyai kelebihan yang tersendiri dan mereka kagum akan kehebatan yang ada pada diri (maksud saya nik aziz kagum akan tun dan sebaliknya tun juga kagum akan tok guru).
apakah ada kemungkinana mereka berdua ini bersatu demi kebaikan negara Malaysia dan agama Islam yang kita cintai? tiada sesuatu yang mustahil rasanya. Doa saya semoga gabungan kedua insan yang tersohor ini akan menjadi kenyataan dan pastinya akan dialu-alukan oleh seluruh anak Melayu dan umat Islam di negara ini.
kepakaran mereka di dalam bidang masing2 akan menguntungkan negara pastinya. Untuk ayahnda Tun dan Tok Guru, pastinya anak2 cucu nanti akan mengenang jasa-jasa yang akan terus disumbangkan sampai bila-bila hasil dari gabungan ini (sekiranya menjadi kenyataan).

peringatan dari majlis raja-raja
ini kali pertama Mesyuarat Majlis Raja-Raja mengeluarkan satu kenyataan akhbar khas mengingatkan jangan sesiapa mempertikai dan mempersoalkan perkara-perkara yang menjadi asas utama pembentukan negara Malaysia dan Perlembagaan Persekutuan termasuk Hak Istimewa orang-orang Melayu.begitulah tajuk utama beberapa akhbar harian hari ini. Baguslah kalau Raja-Raja Melayu sudah dapat merasakan bahawa hari ini telah timbul suatu gelombang di mana telah ramai yang berani mempertikai dan mempersoalkan perkara di atas.
telah wujud peruntukan-peruntukan di dalam Perlembagaan Malaysia yang dikenali sebagai Kontrak Sosial / Social Contract. Kenyataan akhbar diatas adalah ekoran dari mesyuarat yang berlangsung di Istana Maziah, Kuala Terengganu dan dipengerusikan oleh Sultan Kedah.
semoga selepas ini tidak akan kedengaran lagi cakap-cakap yang menyentuh perkara ini yang boleh mencuit dan mengguris perasaan sesetengah pihak.
marilah kita sama-sama merealisasikan kehidupan yang aman makmur yang telah sekian lama kita nikmati. Janganlah ada pula pihak yang lupa di mana bumi dipijak di situ langit dijunjung.

menikmati hidangan dgn sdr mara di rumah mak teh 
melawat mak teh (adik arwah mak) selepas ziarah kuburit has been many years that i did not celebrate hari raya kat my kampung especially after both my parents passed away. So this year i told my wife and daughters that we are celebrating the first Raya kat my kampung. As i missed the sembahyang raya there for many years, i wanted to try to meet as many friends of mine as possible there.
we have to travelled in 2 cars as there were six of us including the maid, so my wife drove her Neo with my youngest and the maid. They depart early in the morning but i have to wait for my eldest as she still has to attend her classes . I started my hari raya journey after 6 pm and we have to break our fast in the car. Of course in my old bmw.
the same nite were spent at my in-law hse at bukit gantang. My girls seem to be enjoying their times with shakir and syafiq (cucu my bro in-law).
we were heading to gerik after zohor on the last day of puasa. Stop at Lenggong to buy some chickens as my girls were asking me to make some rendang (my speciality of course).
reached my eldedst bro hse kat kampung and started cooking as we planned to break our fast at the other bro hse.
manage to go to gerik bazaar ramadhan with my girls. Many visitors were anak2 perantau yang balik beraya macam kami.
after buka puasa and doing some takbir raya at my bro hse we went to my sister hse before proceeding to my late sister hse. Reached home at 2 am.
sembahyang raya kat kampung i was accompanied by my wife and my youngest (penuh puasanya tahun ni).
after sembahyang, ramai2 kami menziarahi kubur orang tua dan sedekahkan al-fatihah dan yasin kpd mereka. Then we started our round. All with their respective family except my 3rd bro yang solo je as his family were not with him.
i took the chances to pay a visit to my only uncle and two aunties. We were well welcomed by all of them. The pictures posted will describe them.
we were heading to my in-law hse by 4 pm on the same day (first raya) as we planned to be back to KL by the next day. A few relatives on my wife side were visited by us.
we reached BG and the same nite we manage to visit a few relatives. The atmosphere were lively as everyones were enjoying themselves.
after midnite i went to taiping to meet up with some of my old school friends including the YB Kuala Langat. We were talking about the good old days and also the dinner that we were organising for the Pak Yiew Rugby Boys this coming Fri 10 Oct.
before heading back to KL on 2nd Raya, we went to Kuala Sepetang and i did drop by at Matang Rd to say hello to the former MB of Selangor.
we reached home by 11pm and i was accompanied by my 2nd and youngest girls. They have to prepare for their coming exam which will be coming soon.
it was a meaningful and memorable Hari Raya for all of us. SELAMAT HARI RAYA and Maaf Zahir Batin.

renungan najib
jauh renungannya. Apakah pelan peralihan kuasa pada jun 2010 yang masih samar2 itu bermain difikirannya?atau dok fikir bila pak lah nak letak jawatan ni, macam tak faham2 lagi yang orang dah tak suka kat dia dan dok tunggu dia berundur je.
nak cakap pi cepat sikit takut dikata lawan tokey. Atas sbb itulah baik aku cakap elok akar umbi diminta untuk buat keputusan. Kan jalan selamat tu? tak nampak sangatkan.
atau apakah najib sedang memikirkan adakah dia sempat menduduki kerusi empuk itu. Anwar kan telah melaungkan akan menawan Putrajaya pada 16hb Sept 2008 (esok ni). Seram sejuk aku dibuatnya (mungkin itu juga yang berlegar dikepalanya).
hari ini de-facto law minister zaid ibrahim telah letak jawatan. Tak taulah dengan penuh hormat atau terpaksa. Kalau sblm ni dia suruh muhiyuddin yang letak jawatan, tiba2 dia yang pergi dulu.

apakah akan jadi kenyataan?
tinggal beberapa hari sahaja lagi untuk anwar ke putrajaya. Rombongan meminang seramai 5 orang pun dah dihantar ke taiwan untuk meminang ahli parlimen BN yang berada di sana
.
samada ianya melalui pintu belakang atau apa sahaja yang dilabelkan,anwar nampaknya tidak peduli. Yang penting, harapan dan hajat untuk menjadi perdana menteri yang dikira sbg keutamaan pertama baginya selepas menjadi AP.
saya berkesempatan berbicara dgn bbrp rakan dalam pakatan rakyat, ternyata ada yang menaruh harapan yang tinggi dan ada juga yang merasakan agak mustahil untuk mencapainya.
ada juga yang mengatakan 16hb adalah cuma sebagai gimik politik, dan kalau ianya benar samalah dengan apa yang disuaraan oleh pak lah and co.
sequences peristiwa spt mana di dalam sms yang tersebar bemula dari 5hb Sept - 16hb Sept setakat ini tidak ada satupun yang menjadi kenyataan.
masih tidak terdapat seorang pun AP dari BN yang telah mengumumkan untuk beralih angin. Apa yang didengar hanyalah bahawa mereka akan beralih angin dan telah menyatakan kesediaan berbuat demikian.
rakyat termasuk saya sudah tidak sabar menunggu. Kewibawaan seorang pemimpin dan di dalam kes in sudah tentulah kewibawaan DSAI akan menjadi galang gantinya.
apa pun juga kesudahannya, sebagai rakyat Malaysia saya mendoakan akan kesejahteraan yang berterusan akan terus dinikmati oleh kita. Semoga anak cucu kita nanti tidak akan menyiram air kencing di atas kubur kita kerana marahkan tindakan kita hari ini.

berbuka tanpa rokok
dah masuk hari yang ke 9 kita berpuasa. Dah 9 hari jugalah aku berbuka puasa dan tidak menikmati rokok selepas makan dan bersahur yang telah menjadi kewajipan dan rutin sejak sekian lama.
sesuatu yang amat memerit dan berat nak dicapai. Tapi i have to have the guts to quit and stop smoking totally. My wife is always there to give the courage and strenght.
do i have the strenght to kick off the habit that has been with me for the last 30 yrs? I think I do.
rm9 is the new cost for a pack of 20's. Just imagine the price keep on rising every year. When i first started smoking, it was $1.70 (that was during varsity days). jgn kira berapa blh save lagi.
hoping that i will manage to kick off the habit totally though sometimes rasa macam semuanya tak kena. The temptation is always there. So kena kuat semangat, bukannya sikit. Tambahan pula kawan2 bila minum lepas terawih tu sure berasap. Tabahkan hati je.

merdeka and ramadhan al-mubaraq
malaysian is celebrating its 51st merdeka today and in each state capital there were celebrations being organised for it. Selamat menyambut Hari Kemerdekaan yg ke 51.
for all the muslim 1st sept is also the first day of ramadhan. It is the holy month in Islam. Selamat menunaikan ibadah puasa untuk semua saudara muslim. Moga ramadhan kali ini akan menjadi yang terbaik.
malam ini dimulakan dgn sembahyang sunat terawih, i did join at the nearby surau. The crowd were there and hoping to see it till the end of ramadhan.
ni pagi nanti jam 5 nak bangun sahur. My wife buat rendang daging walau pun dia tak berapa sihat. Tqvm my dear.
as usual,my mum in law will be with us till nak balik raya

it is budget day
on air at the moment is pak lah delivering his motion for the 2009 budget in parliament. Sound to be 'budget prihatin' as in his earlier part he has announced that free electricity will be given to those whose usage is below rm20.00 per month.
public transport has been taken care off and some new lines for LRT and also other modes of public transport being announced. Hoping it will helps in easing the jammed in klang valley.
some other measures has been table by such as the increase for allowances for pentioner (those served 25yrs and above) to a minimum of rm720. It do include the pencen terbitan. So, my mak mertua will benefit, sure a big smile if she come to know about it.
for smokers like myself, an increase is expected and has been said. It will cost 0.60cts more for a pack of 20. Better start thinking of quitting as more money needed to puff.
for the govt servants, thanks pak lah for announcing a month bonus for us though it will be given in two stages. Definetely it will ease us in preparing for the coming hari raya and new year.

pak yiew rugby boys reunion dinner
last wed there were a small ghatering among us the old boys of King Edward VII at Eastin Hotel PJ. Those presence mainly the former team-mates of the great rugger boys of KE VII from the squad of 1978 - 1981.
jalil shaaib (stand off), keat swee (jumper), mariappan (fulback), ramli (baie), yusof arif (wing fwd)and myself (winger) were there and later being joined by thong chee meng (no 8). The atmosphere were lively as everybody were talking of the goods old days.
since our former school will be celebrating its 125 years, a special dinner is being organised on this coming Oct 11, 2008. The goal was good but we disagreed with it as there will be two (2) types of tables on sales, each at 1k (for outside the dewan) and 3k (inside the dewan).
we totally agreed to have one for our group that consists of all rugby players during the era of our great coach, pak yiew. He will be our quest of honour for that occasion. A few others will be on our list.
the dinner will be held on 10.10.2008 at a venue yet to be confirm as we are trying our best to find one in Taiping. A minimal charge of RM150 has been agreed upon for the dinner that will cover the makan, jersey and also momento for our coach and teachers invited.

anwar back to parliament
dsai was sworn in today as MP after his landslide victory during the by election held recently. He was also made the head of the opposition in the parliament.
it will be tough in the days ahead for pak lah and co as anwar will be raising issues and demanding answers from the govt.
i did agree with tun m that anwar could convince even the devil to follow him. That was his biggest asset and ones could not deny it. As one of my friend who is also an MP for PKR, Abdullah Sani (Edwardians) put it, anwar is at par with the late Soekarno.
for the rakyat that who has given him the mandate and support for sure they will be eagerly waiting for the changes from him as promised b4 the by election and also prior to it.
is pak lah a match to anwar? i don't think so. The demand for pak lah to step down is on the increase lately be it within or outside the party. Beside tun who has been very vocal in asking pak lah to step down, same goes to his son mukhriz. I believed there are many more in the party itself but they don't have the guts in calling the shot.

permatamg pauh
esok tanggal 26 ogos 2008 pengundi2 di P 44 Permatang Pauh akan membuat pilihan siapakah yang akan mewakili mereka di Parlimen untuk 4 tahun akan datang.
dsai akan ditentang oleh dato' ariff shah dan terselit seorang calun lain dari AKIM. Namun begitu saya percaya ianya hanya akan merupakan pertandingan dua penjuru sahaja iaitu BN dengan PKR. Hanya tinggal beberapa jam sahaja lagi untuk kedua-dua parti untuk berkempen dalam usaha untuk meraih undi.

KUALA LUMPUR 15 Ogos – Mohd. Saiful Bukhari Azlan hari ini mengotakan janjinya bersumpah mengikut syariat Islam untuk membuktikan kebenaran dakwaan dirinya diliwat oleh Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim di Masjid Wilayah Persekutuan, Jalan Duta di sini pukul 6.30 petang ini.
Dalam upacara yang berlangsung di Dewan Solat Utama masjid berkenaan, Mohd. Saiful, 23, yang berbaju Melayu coklat menghadap kiblat sebelum melafazkan sumpah berikut:
“Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. Pada hari ini, 14 Ogos 2008, saya Mohd. Saiful Bukhari Azlan Nombor Kad Pengenalan 850706-01-5687 dengan ini sesungguhnya dengan nama Allah Yang Maha Pemurah Lagi Maha Penyayang berikrar dan bersumpah seperti berikut...

Pada sidang akhbarnya disebuah hotel selepas itu saiful menyatakan merasa lega setelah beliau berjaya melakukan sumpah tersebut dan menjawab kebanyakan saolan wartawan bahawa beliau akan menjawab di mahkamah nanti.

the olympic
08.08.08 and at 8 pm was the day china began as host for the 2008 olympic with a stunning performances during the opening ceromony. I was watching the live telecact of the opening ceromony. What a wonderful performances by the chinese.
as of today China is leading the medal tally with 14 gold, 12 gold for USA and 8 gold for South Korea who were 2nd with 3rd at the moment. How about Malaysia? Hoping to see some medal being won by our team. Our shuttlers were making a good debut at the moment. Don't forget the Gold medalist will turn millionaire soon.

my humble opinion
malaysia bergolak lagi as today dsai was charged for sodomising ones mohd saiful bukhari. Pleaded not guilty and another date was fixed for mention. Bailed was given and dsai is free to walk around pending the coming court case and start campaining for the coming by election.
who is right and who is wrong? let put ourselves in the shoes of the accused and also the said victim. Both have the right to be heard and they should be given a chance to prove their claim. First and foremost, the complainant has to prove his case and i beleived it will not be an easy task. Of course the complainant will be depending on the prosecution team and the investigation by the police. Many parties will be called to testify in order for the prosecution to prove that there is a prima-facie case. It has to be beyond reasonable doubt.
the willingness of the complainant to take an oath under the Quran was something for us to ponder. It's not an easy decision ( i believed ) for someone to do so knowing very well of the implications by doing so if he / she is in the wrong path.
as for the accused (dsai) he will only be called to enter his defence once the court satisfy that there is a case to answer. Forget about the conspiracy, let the court do their job with all their learned officials including lawyers from both parties.
today the so called doctor who examined saiful at pusrawi hospital stand by his finding and he confirmed it with the latest SD.

harapan seorang bapa
setiap bapa atau ayah pastinya mempunyai harapannya yang tersendiri terhadap diri, isteri, keluarga dan tentu sekali anak-anak
esok anak bongsuku akan menduduki peperiksaan percubaan untuk PMR. Hari ini aku akan balik ke rumah dan akan memastikan beliau segar dan bersedia untuk peperiksaan tersebut. Walau pun ianya hanya 'trial exam' ttp ianya akan dapat membantu dari segi mengukur tahap persediaan sebenar anak bongsuku bagi peperiksaan yang akan didudukinya pada tanggal 13hb oktober 2008 nanti.
apa yang merungsingkan aku ketika ini ialah kesihatan anak bongsuku yang seidkit terjejas kebelakangan ini. Maybe it was because of the stress or the heat factor. As she is having asthma and being advised by the doctor to avoid certains foods and drinks, but as grown up girl sometimes she can't controll herself and dia curi-curi minum and makan apa yang tak boleh.
so, my only wish at the moment is seeing her in good health in order for her to be fit and ready for the trial exam. Hoping to see her performing well so that her confident level will be there for the real exam. As thre are still time before the real exam, hoped she will double up her efforts if the current ones is not enough yet.

a new look
as i'm the only man in my family, with three daughters, a wife and of course a maid and starting from today my mum inlaw is going to be with us for the next two mths, a new look being chosen for my blog. So, enjoy reading. learning process will never ends as the teaching of Islam did asked us to study though we have to go to China for that purpose. Now org pi sana nak tengok olympic game.
i put up my 2nd and 3rd daughters here as inspiration for them as my youngest will be sitting for her PMR trial exam on tuesday. The flower is a symbol of loves in our family.
btw to gee as u have made it public, once again congrats from all of us. Your mak cik did complain as most of my posts reflects you, may be cos u r away from us. Last sat nite our hse penuh dgn family pak lang it and on sunday sblh mak cik pulak. Durian sampai tak larat nak makan.
ok. dah ngantuk and on tv now arsenal is leading real madrid 1-0.

i was the speaker

occasion: majlis perjumpaan khas ibu bapa murid-murid ting 3,5 dan 6 Atas tahun 2008
i received an invitation from the school asking me to give a talk in sharing some experiences with other parents and students in managing my daughters. What a surprised as i still have two school going daughters, one in form 3 and also in form 5. I asked my wife and daughters what to be shared as we don't have a grown up girl who really excell in their studies and of course life. I wanted to withdraw but my second girl seemed to disagree and tarik muka. So, accepted.
it was a good turned out by the parents, among them were YDP PIBG Dato Hj Salleh (Ketua Pengarah DBKL) and of course the principal and her teachers. A ceramah was given on 'How to inspire education success in your child' by Hj Mohd Osman from Peak Performance Coach. It was a good talked but it seem boring for some students.
then it was my turn, after my name was announced by the emcee a big applaused were heard in the hall and it seems i was welcomed by the students. I talked about 5-7 min as how my wife and i managed our daughters and i stressed on willingness to share and also being a good listener to our childrens. I reminded the parents not to be putting high expectation and making comparision among our childrens as all of them have their own strenght. I also reminded the students not to forget to do their prayers no matter what beleived or religion we are in. Insyaallah our payers will be heard and answered.
i end up my talk by stressing the student not to be ' Derhaka' to their parents and teachers. And there again i received a big cheer from the students.
may all of you (including my two girls) perform well in your examinations, insyaallah

the blues
the venue : shah alam stadium
date : 29 july 2008
time : 8.45 pm
a packed stadium with almost 45000 crowd were there to witness the game between malaysian selection and chelsea. Among the crowd were my three daughters and of course myself. Most fans were donned in blues, the colours of chelsea. Same goes to my girls. It was their first time experience sitting in the stadium to see a football match ( what a pity ).
we arrived at the stadium after maghrib prayer, the crowd were already there. They were cheering the teams well but in a malaysian way. My girls seem to enjoy the game but they were lost halfway as football is not with them except my youngest. She was busy telling her eldest about the name of the chelsea players.
the result was 2-0 in favour of chelsea of course. The scoreline was something to be proud of as it was the slimmest margin of all the matches played by chelsea during their asian tours. Kudos to the malaysian players who put up a good fight as described by scholari the new chelsea coach.
as all daughters said, we were up against world best fottballers and we can be proud of the result. EPL is on the way.

my lovely wife
i have written about our three girls and i have to find some strenght to write about you. For the past 22 years you have been my lovely wife, my good companion, my ardent supporter, my friend and to sum up, my everythings. Thanks you very much for being what you are today.
the best decision that i made so far was - taking you as my wife. Thanx for accepting my proposal some 22 - 23 yrs ago. From our marriage, Allah has given us three lovely grown up daughters and i beleived each of them has thier own potential to succed in whatever path they choose. Their presence has made our live more meaningful and they will be the topic of our conversation most of the time.
for the past 22 yrs we have gone through many things together, from the bad to the goods things, and Alhamdulillah we managed it smootly. You will always be there to support me at any times, and I really treasure it. As i used to be jobless, you are still there with me and giving your support and of course the strenght for me to make a come back. And Alhamdulillah, with your never end prayers i'm what i'm today.
sometimes i made a mistake that might hurts your feeling, i'm sorry cos i didn't mean to hurt you. I was not a good listener at times when you needs me most, once again i'm sorry. You did noticed that at times i was not able to join your conversations as all our girls speed when talking are at high gear.
what worries me is your health condition. Being down with diabetic, you are up for medication daily. But i'm proud of you as you are able to cope with it and the way you manage yourself ones won't beleive that you are suffering from diabetic. You will always have my support and i will be there by your side at any one time.
as a mother you are the best mum in the world. Our daughters will always looks up at you before doing anythings and you will always be ready to listen to them. I loved to see the closeness among them and youself. I will always prays that we will be given a chance by Allah to see them grown up and having a good life.
for the past 22 yrs i have no regret having you as my wife. My prayers is may Allah gives us a long life, a good health and rezeki yg halal. I will always treasure each and every moments that i have spent with you and will do my best to make you the happiest wife forever.

my eldest
born at only 1.75kg but she is not not that skinny now. Among all she enjoyed the most loved by us as we were trying to give the best for her. Did well in her UPSR and was enrolled in a boarding school but being separated from us has caused a blunder ( i'm sorry my dear girl if that was my mistake).
she is attached with one of the best legal firm in shah alam at the moment. Recently she came up to me and making her point that she would like to further her studies. Having a Diploma in hand does not guarentee a good life it seem. So, i have given my blessing and support for her. Apak only wish that you really work for it as education today is not cheap. Physcology is the field that you want to explore, be what ever it is, please give 100% effort in achieving your dream.
as parents, mum and i will always be there to support you as our only wish is to see success at the end of the road that will lead you to a happy and prosperous life. As the eldest you have to be the role model for your youngest sister and not the other way round. It is not a sin if we learn from someone younger as long as it is for the betterment of all.
may this be the best ever decision made by you. Insyallah success will be there waiting for you.
God willing, may the time be with us to enjoy the fruits of glory later.

my youngest daughter
she is going to be fifteen yrs old come this Nov 18 and b4 she could celebrate her birthday there is PMR waiting for her comes October 13th. I wish her all the best in her exam though I knew she is doing her best at the moment to catch up with her studies and revision as well. To you my lovely girl, apak is not putting any pressure on you. What I wish most is for you to do the best. Most important of all do not compare yourself with your eldest.

it is sunday today and as planned my family took off to taiping from bt gantang to have breakfast at Yut Sun restaurant (after my wife and i paid our last respect to Mi dad who passed away this morning, sedekah al-fatihah to the late arwah). What a surprised, it was closed. So, we end up having our breakfast at one of the kopitian nearby.
after having our breakfast we were heading to kuala sepetang (port weld) to my bro in law hse. We stopped by one of the stall famous for the mee rebus. I placed my order, and when the mee rebus arrived to my dismay it was not in the usual form (no udang). According to them, fisherman didn't go to the sea as the udang susah nak dapat. So, the second frustration.
we went straight to my bro in law hse and his wife then fried some cucur udang for us. We really enjoyed it. The rain starts falling and we don't have choices left, so lepak only. My bro in law was at his best trying to please us as suddenly we found out he was preparing tom yam udang. When it was ready and the rain keeps on falling, we had another round of makan but this time we only enjoyed the tom yam. It was delicious.
my daughters wanted to go and see the 'kelip-kelip' , so we waited till 9 pm but the rain never stop. So, another frustration.
we then headed home to bukit gantang and hujan masih belum berhenti. Hoped tomorrow it will be a dry and safe journey back home to kuala lumpur
walau apa pun I personally rasa puas sb mlm sampai tu dapat makan pulut durian dengan santan. Perhh.......sedapnya and my bro in law tumpang sekaki sb dia pun sejak musim durian ni blm makan durian dgn santan dan pulut sekali. My wife siap kukus lagi pulut tu. long overdue
almost a month i have not been writing here. Agak sibuk lately. Malaysian politic is in turmoil again with the latest issue on anwar and also the new landscape where an open debate was being held between anwar and shabery cheek. Anwar has been held for questioning by the police and of course as expected he was not giving 100 % coorperation. For watever reason it was his right to do so.
on the debate it was a new era totally though we were not going to decide who the winner is but the courage by both parties should be followed by others. Anwar was on his usual form and shabery who was a former student leader should be saluted for his courage to take on anwar.
we are going back to kampong tomorrow and it has been long overdue. My daughters wanted to have breakfast at Yut Sun (of course kat Taiping) and nak makan cucur udang dan mee rebus kat Port Weld. If i have time i will try to visit my eldest kat gerik and makan durian with pulut and santan (perh.....sedapnya)
hoped ti is going to be an enjoyable weekend

it has been 100 days
the honeymoon is over. That was said by tan sri khalid while addressing the selangor civil servants last monday. There were also prayers held in conjuction with the celebration to mark the 100 days pakatan rakyat in power and governing selangor at state and also district level. The state celebration was held at the stadium melawati, shah alam last friday
i was not able to be there on both occasion as i had some other function to attend to. Serving under the current goverment does not make much different with the previous one. But one thing for sure, they are doing their level best to deliver promises made prior to the last general election. Some has been implemented while some is on their way. The only different that i noticed is the head of dept will be given a free hand in performing their duties but of course they have to perform. The new govt seems to be more approachable
at the moment selangor is looking at ways to enrich its coffer and the main agenda now seem to be the 'pasir'. Permits will be issue again in order for the market to have the supply and it will be done in a better ways where the operators will have to pay the govt around rm3 - rm4 per ton beside another 25% of the total value of the 'pasir' before the operators are being allow to start their operations. It is hoped that all the red tape would be cut and the operators will have less head ache in doing businesses. In a simple words it is going to be legalise.
it was a good idea and i believe it is going to be a good revenue for selangor. Some new measures are going to be announce soon such as the use of a special gadget to weight the sands and it will be send straight to the system and the monitoring will be done at three (3) differents level. Lets wait for June 26th for the announcement. The state govt is targeting an additional income of between rm150m - rm200m a year when it is implemented and i was made to understand that the permits will be issued come this July

Hoped there will be more to come for the benefit of all and for the opposition in selangor, they have to work really hard if they want to wrest selangor back in the next general election as the rakyat will be observing your performances.

i had visitors
as i was viewing my postings i noticed that there were two commets for the lastest one. It came from two of my nephew, one residing in Doha at the moment and the other in Bangi. Both were my ardent supporters and they gave a great comments on their che (grandpa). Loved to learned that they were enjoying their good life and of course with a happy family. Hoping that the strong relationship among us will be there for the years to comes and as i mentioned earlier we owed it to both the late arwah.
visited their blogs, a good writer jugak. Adik2 bising abg ja depa dah lama lama tak dtg rumah. Yani dah nak sambung study nak buat Phsycology kat Help University College and the semester start this coming August (the fees .....malas nak fikir lagi). Adik nak ke Kota Bharu for the final round of Wira Cup debate early July while Yah dok tension sb kurang study as PMR dah dekat. To the one kat Doha, take good care of yrself and of course not to forget to your lovely wife.
i had a gift from my three girls recently sempena hari bapa (nanti nak masukkan kat sini). But the father still got to pay for the dinner. They were growing up fast and sometimes i got cornered by them as the mum will say, i didn't teach them so. For all your love, thank you my girls and most of all to my lovely wife who has been my good supporter and companion all this while.

as tears drop by
i was driving to my office this morning with the dee jay from hot fm hot on air. The topic that they were discussing was the best ever momories with your father / daddy. They were taking phone calls from the listener on air. Most came up with the best memoir and almost all the callers hails their fatrher as the best man on earth.
the memories of my late bapak came in while i was listening and without realising it i felt tears were coming down from my eyes. Ah....bapak, what a wonderful man you were and the way i was brought up by you made me what i am today. You tought me right from wrong and made me a strong man who could survice in this world. Thanx apak. Al fatihah.
the training given by you have made me stronger each day and i am doing it now to my childrens. The only different was, i was a bit hot tempered but i'm proud to say that all my daughters would like to have someone with my characters as their companion later. It was all due to you.
you also taught me to always love my sibblings (adik beradik) and though you and mum were not around we always make it a point to ghater when we have the oppurtunity. We just had some prayers for you recently
may you and mum rests in peace and Allah be with you.
( in conjuction with fathers day this coming sunday )

sekolah dah mula
hari ini sekolah bagi semester baru tlh bermula dgn resminya. Anak2 dan isteriku telah dengan redha atau pun tidak menghayun langkah ke sekolah pagi tadi. Aku menghantar anak2ku ke sekolah seperti biasa manakala isteriku memandu sendiri. Semuanya 'liat' nak ke sekolah, maklumlah dah cuti selama 2 minggu. Bagi anak2ku, bermula semester ini bermakna peperiksaan mereka semakin hampir. Tumpukan perhatian kalian kepada study kerana keputusan exam nanti akan mencorakkan masa hadapan. Apak dan mak cuma dapat membantu setakat terdaya kami sahaja tetapi realitinya ia terletak di tangan kalian.
isteriku pasti akan kembali sibuk dengan tugasannya di sekolah. Disamping itu menghantar dan mengambil anak2 tuition akan menjadi routine yg wajib sehinggalah exam over. Mengenali kedua2 anakku yang akan mengambil exam tahun ini aku yakin bahawa mereka akan mendapat keputusan yang cemerlang nanti. Masing2 ada kelebihan sendiri.
bagi isteriku, sudah tentu akan memberikan komitment yang tinggi terhadap kerjayanya. Itulah kekuatan yang ada padanya, tidak akan mudah mengalah walau pun kadang2 menghadapi tekanan atau stress yang amat sangat dgn tugasannya. Mungkin itulah kelebihannya, maka kerjaya perguruan menjadi pilihannya. Minatnya untuk mendidik anak2 bangsa dan menjadikan mereka insan yang berguna tidak pernah pudar dan luntur. Kadang2 aku turut terharu bila mendengar ceritanya bagaimana dia didatangi oleh bekas anak2 muridnya yang telah berjaya dan mereka tidak lokek untuk meluahkan kata2.....cikgu telah menjadikan saya manusia hari ini dan cikgu juga telah menjadi pendorong saya. Ah...betapa murninya. Terharu sekali apabila mendengarnya. ( ini semua akan mengingatkan aku kepada semua bekas2 guruku, terima kasih cikgu )

minyak naik lagi
memeranjatkan semua kami dgn pengumuman pak lah minyak naik lagi. Petrol 0.78 sen dan diesel rm 1.00. Aduh lari budget nampaknya. Baca paper hari ni rata2 keluhan seluruh rakyat malaysia...............kena re-positioning semua keperluan. Kalau dulu Waja full tank rm110 la pastinya dah jadi rm150/160.

penangan nasi kandar penang
tiba di penang pd ptg khamis jam 4.30 dan bernasib baik krn sepupu isteri tlh berjaya dapatkan bilik di Cititel hotel. Cuti sekolah ni most of the hotels fully occupied. We checked in and had some rests b4 going for the first nasi kandar. My wife cousin took us to Kampong Melayu to try the best nasi kandar ( bagi dialah). Semua tgh lapar, so kira oklah. We proceed to visit another cousin ( sblh wife ) dekat penjara, penang. They were living in a bungalow meant for the staff. Very lavish and convinient. Kami sembang agak lama and by 12 m'nite back to hotel.
friday morning we went to bukit bendera and manage to be up there by 9.30. Jambatan gantung was a must and my daughters and I really enjoyed ourselves. My wife? asyik menjerit bila kami goyang dan henjut the jambatan. It was fun
we spent almost two hrs up there enjoying the scenery of penang from the top. Had our lunch by the seaside somewhere near bt maung dekat gerai run by my junior kat sekolah (fendi pt buntar, of KE VII). Fresh fishs of course menyelerakan.
ptg kami did some shopping. My wife dgn ala hindustaninya yg tak dpt nak cari kat KL even kat masjid india area. Night market di batu feringgi was our next stop. There adik were busy trying some new handbags with syakirah. But they missed their eldest yg tak dpt join, so mcm tak cukup korum.
the next nasi kandar was b4 we go to batu feringgi and this time of course dekat LINE CLEAR. Yg ni my wife enjoyed, tapi katanya tak blh lawan nasi ganja kat ipoh.
we singgah kat my bro hse di pt buntar otw back on saturday. Visiting my mak mertua kat bt gantang was the next stop b4 proceeding home to KL. Some lauk pauk from line clear were our goodies for her. The two daughters of my bro in law follow us back to KL to enjoy their holidays kat Sunway Lagoon selepas digula2 oleh adik and Yah.
alhamdulillah we reached home safely on Sat at 9.30pm but I sakit perut dan berulang alik ke bilik termenung sampai lembik

last wed kami sekeluarga pulang ke kpg utk bersama2 dgn ahli keluarga lain di dalam satu majlis sempena memperingati arwah2 yg tlh pergi. Only my eldest tak dpt ikut sama krn beliau kerja. It was a good ghatering as most of my relatives turned up and the gotong royong spirit still exist lively as semuanya bekerjasama menyediakan masakan utk tetamu.
my two daughters seronok sekali dan they were seen disturbing their aunties and uncles in the lively afternoon. They took the chances to ride a motorcycle kliling kampong and after making one round they arrived home safely but.......depa jatuh bila lost control of the bike bila motor reversed. Ha....ha.....ha......ha......They also did what they loved most, minum air kelapa. They themselves ambik from the tree and potong it. It was really fun to them. The menu were : kari daging dgn umbut nyior, ayam goreng berempah dan paling best kerabu umbut bayas ( ni org sblh kpg saya je yg tau). my wife punyalah meratah kerabu sampai kenyang. Really sedap katanya. It was held at my younger brother hse
we put up at my eldest brother hse as it was cold at nite and my daughters really enjoyed the suasana and also rumah kampong. Without aircond, but it was still so sejuk as everyone of us berebut selimut
the next day we went to felda lubok merbau (kat kedah) to attend the wedding of my cousins daughter and son. The two tied the knots together. It was a long journey and it was my first visit there. The menu was of kampong atmosphere with ulam and sambal. The main was masak lemak ikan kering with nanas. It gave me the oppurtunity to meet some of my relatives whom I have not met for sometimes. It was a great ghatering indeed.

piala puan seri saleha - end of the road
the atmosphere inside the ET at the Help University College while the debate was going on was so lively as both teams participating were giving their best shots at it. The speakers from both teams were giving their best performances and was described as the best debate ever by the chief judicator.
as the judicators were finalising the result, all were very quiet and CBN supporters were confidence of winning. The result came and it was 2 - 1 in favour of SMK Damansara Jaya. But it was a great exit by the CBN girls.
smk damansara jaya went on to win the debate or the third consecutive year and the trophy will be in their goods hand.
it is ok as you still have the Wira Cup coming this early July.

kehilangan pulau batu putih
international court has decided in favour of singapore wih regards to the pulau batu putih claim with a majority of 12 - 4. Sedihnya rasa hati krn tlh kehilangan kedaulatan pulau ini yg dulunya memang kita punya ttp akibat dr bbrp kesilapan tekniklal terdahulu it's gone by this date 23rd of mei 2008.
my youngest daughter did follow the episode and also the live telicast by rtm1. Kalau anak yg baru berumur 15 thn pun merasa sedih atas kehilangan ini, saya rasa rakyat malaysia yg mengikuti perkembangan ini juga bersamanya.
apa yg menghairankan kami ialah knp awal2 lagi rais yatim suruh kita bertenang? kerajaan singapura tak ada cakap apa pun pd rakyatnya. Apakah kita tau dah nak kalah sb tak prepare kes kita dengan baik?
moralnya di sini ialah sblm buat sesuatu, fikir2kanlah.

school break (holidays)
today is the last day of the school for this semester. My wife took off this morning with a smiling face as there will be two weeks break for her from her hectic schedule as a teacher. Same goes to my daughters. There will be a Teachers Day celebration held at their school 2day with conjuction of the celebration recently.
what woorries me will be of course to fulfill the holidays for them. Definitely my daughters and wife will needs some break b4 the next semester start. As both of my daughters will be preparing for their PMR and SPM respectively, they deserved the break to enable them to start afresh later. But adik will be participating in another round of debate being organised by HELP University College this week end. I could only join her to give my morale support only on Sunday as Saturday i have some commitments 2row. To adik, i'm sure you will be there again for the final on Sunday. Seeing you in action recently, I won't be surprise if your team win this competition.
i might take them to balik kampung as adik missed the kampung very much. We might hold kenduri arwah for our late parents and relatives. This is one of the way for me to force my brothers and sisters to balik kampung and make the atmosphere lively beside the usual ghatering during Raya. My youngest missed tidur kat kampung yang sejuk pada malamnya dan tak payah pakai aircond. The eldest? hoped she could join us also though she might has to sacrifice some of her cuti.
my youngest also love the kampong atmosphere very much. She used to enjoy 'mandi sungai' with her cousins when she was in the primary school. The balik kampong spirit is very much alive in my family and it is one of the way for us to remember our roots. It also helps us to strenghten our family ties.
one or two days in penang will do for them as they would like to enjoy the food there. The nasi kandar and kueh teow longkang (somewhere near Bagan) will be their demand and off course on the way back to KL, nasi ganja dekat the old tg rambutan bus station will be a must.
so, with this break i do hoped that they will perform well in their coming exam. Both of you will have my words / promises delivered. Insyaallah.

parlimentary debate - KL School Final
my wife and i took times off today to give our moral support for our daughter and her team-mates in the final of parlimentary debate for the Wira Cup. It was held at our daughter school, Convent Bukit Nanas, KL. The other finalist was from S.M.K. Kepong Baru. The motion of the day was "Parents are solely responsible for their childrens decipline".
it was a lively debate with both teams seem to be fully prepared and geared towards it. My daughter was the first speaker for the government. She seems to know her facts well and managed to deliver it in her usual way with the confidence level that she used to be. My wife was so tense during the whole session. Luckily she didn't collapse. When my daughter has finished her tasks, she was herself again by doing the most POI ( points of informations) while the speakers fr the opposition were giving their speeches. The second speaker fr CBN was in her usual ways, showing her styles of aggresiveness while rebutting and giving her points. So did the third who was a form four girl.
the opposition were trying their level best to rebutt the points raised by the govt team, but I noticed that they were a bit disturbed when being POI so many times.
waiting for the rslt to be announced was so tense. 2nd speaker father who is my close friend was on his way to selama, perak for some family matters. SMS keeps on coming fr him asking me about the outcome. The tensions were being shared by those inside the hall that includes supporters fr both teams as well.
finally the announcement came and CBN was the WINNER. Congratulation my dearest daughter and her team-mates. You have made us proud. So, kota bharu here we comes as the finale for the national level will be held there.

mahathir keluar UMNO
malaysia dan khususnya org melayu dikejutkan dgn berita dan pengumuman tun mahathir utk keluar dr UMNO dan akan berada diluar selagi pak lah terus menjadi presidennya. Apa nak jadi? teringat akan posting saya sblm ini yg memperkatakan ttg perbalahan di kalangan pemimpin2 Melayu. Tiba2 pula dtg berita ini yg mengesahkan keresahan yg saya suarakan sebelum ini.
pasti anak2 malaysia terkejut dan terkedu dgn berita ini dan pastinya persaolan knp beliau berbuat demikian menjadi tanda tanya yg sudah tentu menjadi perbualan bukan shj dikedai kopi ttp juga di pejabat dan pastinya di coffee hse. Saya sendiri masih mencari jawapannya.
sebentar td semasa berita yg disiarkan oleh tv3 bbrp komen tlh disiarkan. Apa yg memeranjatkan saya ialah komen dari bekas timbalannya iaitu musa hitam yg menyatakan bahawa duri dalam daging tlh tiada dlm UMNO. Terkejut saya bukan krn apa krn ia dtg dari sorg yg pernah diangkat dan dikembalikan maruahnya oleh mahathir blh berkata demikian. Kemanakah hilangnya nilai2 murni pd diri musa hitam? Atau dia merasakan utk terus survive beliau perlu terus mengampu pak lah yg punya telinga ttp tidak mahu
mendengar itu? Yang punya mata ttp hanya ingin tidur shj ? itulah hakikat Duniawi yg perlu
kita akur.
pastinya ramai yg akan mengikuti jejak langkah tun mahathir ini dan saya tidak akan terperanjat sekiranya beliau menubuhkan parti baru sudah tentu akan ada ramai yg memilih utk menyertainya. Kalau nik aziz blh memberikan komen bahawa terlalu byk jasa2 tun da ideanya masih diperlukan bukan shj di malaysia ttp di dunia saya tidak nampak knp pak lah terus berdegil utk duduk di kerusi empuk itu. Mungkin terlalu byk yg akan dilepaskan sekiranya jawatannya skrg dilepaskan. (komen nik aziz td saya petik dr berita tv3 sebentar td dan dia juga membayangkan kalau mahathir masuk PAS beliau akan rasa syukur krn boleh tumpang tuahnya)
utk anak2 melayu dan malaysia yg inginkan keharmonian di dlm negara yg kita cintaiini, sama2lak kita doakan supaya keputusan tun ini adalah yg terbaik utknya dan utk negara tercinta.

futsal piala yab dato' mb selangor
semalam saya berkesempatan berada di kalangan anak2 muda yang mengambil bhgn dlm pertandingan di atas anjuran sebuah agensi kerajaan di selangor. Meriah sekali wp ianya diadakan di sebuah tempat yg bukan di kota besar tp penyertaannya sgt menggalakkan. Tdpt 64 pasukan L dan 20 pasukan W yg bertanding. Hadiah yg ditawarkan agak lumayan dan mungkin ia menjadi tarikan mereka yg bertanding wp tdpt bbrp kejohanan lain pd hari yg sama. Semangat mereka saya sanjung tinggi dan ia menggambarkan anak2 muda kita kini mempunyai semangat waja.
apa yg saya ingin kongsi di sini ialah bahawa kita mempunyai ramai pemain yg berbakat dan tinggi mutunya tetapi kenapa mutu sukan negara kita bukan shj berada di takuk lama ttp saya dapati tlh menurun dgn ketara sekali. Ingatkan dapat bawa balik piala thomas tp kalah lagi. Sesuatu yg drastik perlu dilakukan dari segi approach sukan di negara kita. Jgn politikkan sukan. Biarlah persatuan di tadbir urus oleh mereka yg arif bukan ahli politik yg mengejar glamour semata2.
saya juga ahli sukan dulu dan kagum dgn semangat jurulatih2 masa dulu. Mereka tak pernah fikirkan fasal ganjaran dsb tp sentiasa berusaha utk lahirkan athlit yg berjaya. Sampai saat ini saya masih berhubung dgn mrk dan sesekali kami berjumpa dan pasti mengimbau kenangan zaman perseolahan menjadi topik utama. Kenangan di padang yg mengusik jiwa juga tak terlepas daribualankami.
baru2 ini juga saya pulang ke taiping menghadiri perjumpaan bekas murid2 asrama sekolah. Terasa muda kembali dan kenangan semasa sekolah tak habis2 kami kenang dan bualkan Indahnya zaman itu dan betapa syukurnya saya kerana masih mempunyai rakan2 yg setiap tahun akan memberikan priority kpd tarikh 1 mei di mana kami pasti berkumpul. Syukur krn kami berjaya menjadi dewasa dan berjaya dalam kehidupan kami. Semuanya kerana jasa GURU-GURU kami. Selamat Hari Guru buat semua guru-guruku. Jasa kalian tak terbalas rasanya. Semoga Allah mencucuri rhmatNya kpd kalian. Tak lupa Selamat Hari Guru buat Isteri tersayang yang juga seorang Guru. Teruskan usaha murnimu semoga anak2 bangsa akan mejadi generasi pelapis yang berguna utk Negara

apa nak jadi ni?
saya ada juga mengikuti perkembangan politik tanah air. Apa yang saya lihat ialah perpecahan di kalangan orang melayu makin ketara. Masing2 dengan agenda mereka yang tersendiri. Kalau dulu bumi kita ni namanya Tanah Melayu tapi kini dah jadi Malaysia selepas beratus tahun kita dijajah. Semakin ketara kita sesama kita dok bertelagah. Tak bolehkah mereka yang dok rasa diri sebagai pemimpin atau champion orang Melayu dok semeja dan bincang baik-baik cari cara bagaimana nak bina kembali kegemilangan kita sebagai orang Melayu? Anak2 kecil pun dah pandai komen, takde kerja lainkah depa ni asyik dok bertelagah saja sesama sendiri?
kalau dulu takde orang yang berani nak usik Sultan atau Raja-Raja kita, tapi la depa dah semakin berani. Nak tau sb apa? Depa tengok kita sama kita dah tak sehaluan. Nama sahaja Melayu dan beragama Islam.

Buat ibu yg tlh lama pergi, semoga diberi ketenangan disamping mrk yg beriman dan semoga rohmu diberkati dan dirahmati. Utk anak2 yg masih ada ibu, jangan sakiti hati mereka,sesungguhnya syurga terletak di bawah telapak kaki ibu.
