acik dah kahwin

last friday we were among the thousands of travellers heading back to the North joining our Chinese friends for the massive traffic jam along the highway.

we were among the crowd for one purpose, not to miss my niece, popularly known as Acik wedding day. We reached my bro in law house by 11.30pm the same nite after taking almost one hour just to reach Jalan Duta Toll Plaza from my hse. It was a six hour drive.

most of the relatives were already there to assist in the final and last minute preparation. Acik was the daughter of my late and beloved sister,Siti Saebah.

the Akad Nikah ceremony started at 11.30 am at Padang Jeri Mosque (after being delayed by almost one hour as the Kadhi had another akad nikah) and being attended by relatives from both parties.

my bro in law couldn't controll his emotion when he was asked to 'wakilkan' the akad nikah to the kadhi. There were tears among some of us esp my two sister. Luckily my bro hj mansor was not there as things could become worst. ( i have to controll myself by taking pictures using my Nokia E 90).

Alhamdulillah, dgn sekali lafaz shj mereka sah menjadi sepasang suami isteri. And for sure, I lost another niece who used to be very close to me. My only prayer for them, May Allah kurniakan kehidupan yang bahagia sehingga ke anak cucu kpd mereka berdua.

the kenduri was great as most invitee turned up. Luckily the foods prepared were enough although the caterer has to top up.

the only question during the kenduri was, bila lagi engko nak terima menantu kim? Ni yang letih nak jawab.

so to acik, please take care of your new family. Best wishes from all of us esp your beloved pak cik and mak cik

he is the new member of the family. A stray cat that used to hang around our house and being feed daily by us (esp our maid), he has instill not only our care but also loved. He is being taken care off by all the members of the family now.

i failed

where do i goes wrong?
was it not enough loved and attention given?

was it because of the leniency in the approach taken?

- i was betrayed

- i was conned
- i was made a mockery

and i was etc, etc......

to sum up i was frustrated as i failed.

but with the blessing of Allah the AlMighty, i will wake up to redemm it,Insyaallah.

May Allah forgive me for my failure and may my wife will always be by my side to support me.

morning call

it was the term used in most hotels when the quests wanted to be alerted early in the morning. It is also known as a wake up call.

i have to do that these days to my 2nd girl in college. By midnite she will text me to call her up early in the morning for Subuh prayer. As she is trying to adapt herself to the new college life, she has been reminded time and time again not to forget her duty to perform the prayers.

Alhamdulillah, though she has added another duty in my routine but I'm proud of her.

it's 2nd semester

my eldest daughter started her 2nd semester at HELP University College recently. My only advised to her is to concentrate on her studies and try to get the best result possible in each semester.

she came back from college last Thursday with a smiling face telling her mom that she got 3.47 for her first semester exam. I didn't give any comment as I wanted to see the physical result (dealing with Physcology student, i need to phsyco her first) before congratulating her.

i wanted all my girls to be successful in life. I will try to to give them the best that i could in order for them to succeed (setakat yang termampu). My wife shared the same and she has been very supportive all this while.

all the three girls will be given the same treatment by us as long as they produce the result and showed us their willingness to compete to be there.

from apak and mak, to all the girls, please study hard as it is for your own future. We will always be there to assists all of you as possible as we could.

the most important of all, jangan lupakan Allah. Sembahyang jangan tinggal dan banyakkan memohon ke hadratNya. Insyaallah, kalau kita tak lupakanNya dan sentiasa memohon kepadanya kejayaan akan mengiringi kita.

so, when i woke you you all up for prayers (esp subuh), janganlah liat.

KYUEM here I come

yesterday, 12 january 2009 my 2nd daughter reported for the A Level program for the January intake. A total of 43 students were selected for the program and it was a mixture of a Malaysian as it consists of Malay, Chinese, Indian and some other races.

my wife, the eldest and myself were there in sending her off. My youngest couldn't make it as it is Monday and a school day. Pity her but 8 A's student cannot ponteng class. We reached there around 10.30am and the crowd were already lining up for the registration in various section.

we missed the briefing as we were 30 min late but luckily some friends were there to advised us.
the girls were put up in a chalet and given a room each and 2 common bathroom. An aircond living room were to my surprised. My wife helped my girl for the set up of her room to make her comfortable.

fees were paid in advanced and only a pay in slip were needed during the registration. Canggih...

we left KYUEM campus by 1 pm and the most talkative girl won't be around for the time being. It was my eldest duty to record the event for us. A new video cam bought for my youngest was functioning well.

as 12 January 2009 getting nearer, i was left wondering whether it was a right decision taken by me in sending my 2nd girl to KYUEM for her A Level. By that date, i will be sending her to the college at Lembah Beringin and an hour drive needed to reach there.

she will be doing her A Level there and as it is January intake it will be an 18 mths course. Will she be able to cope? Hoped so. As she will be joining by some of her school mate, i wish she will be able to take care of herself and most of all her studies.

there will be no more story teller during the weekdays around us for the time being. Thanx God I still have 2 more daughters with me to keep my wife and myself company. Her return during the weekend will be cherish by all and of course with the new stories of the new experiences.

i was a bit moody 2day when thinking of her departure 2row as i was a bit worry whether could she looks after herself or not. By the way, she is going to be 18 by April and already a grown up girl.

a new haji and hajjah returned home safely

i just came back from my kampung with my little girl and wife. We made a trip home to welcome my younger brother and wife who safely returned home after performing the Haj.

alhamdulillah both of them were in the good state of health. Thanx to the AlMighty who has given them the safe trips to the Holy land and also a safe trip back home.

both of them did looked slim and of course it is good for them. They were warmly welcomed by all the relatives who have been waiting patiently for their return. There were tears dropping by of course among them.

we hold some simple doa selamat for their safe return. As usual the atmosphere were really warm among all of us. Started cooking at 9.30 am and by 11.30 am lunch were served.

as it is now, among us the five brothers, the only one without the title Haji is ME. Insyaallah, God willing I will be there with my wife later.

to sum up, it was a good day for my youngest also. We did visit my mum in law on the way back to KL.

those were some of many happy faces within my family after my youngest girl, nur syakirah name were announced as one among the 86 students of CBN Bt Nanas who scored 8 A's in their 2008 PMR (out of 231 candidates). Congratulation to you my dear girl.

the school did well so did you. In the first place all were stunned including you when your name was announced. When you were walking towards the stage to join the others, you were still couldn't believed that it was your name as one of the 8 A's scorer. But one thing for sure, it was the reward of all the hard work by you and also the supportive teachers and not to forget your lovely mum (of course it is my wife). The roles played by your two sisters also could not be denied.

so, well done my girl. My hoped is that you are going to excell again in two yrs time in your SPM. Keep up the good work and if it warrants you to change some of your attitude, you have to do it as it is for your own good.

as promised, your video cam is on the way.

now lets wait for March when the SPM result going to be known and my only hoped is that your sister Izzati going to be called to the stage again.
