dah 21 thn my eldest

yesterday was 16th feb and it was my eldest 21st birthday. Happy 21st b'day 2 u my dear girl. There will be no b'day celebration at the moment as she is preparing herself for her exam. More so, my 2nd girl is not around.

we will be having some makan this week end and it will be a belated celebration for her. Mummy was heard as going to prepare some delicious foods for the day.

Dua (2) MB di Perak

MB yang baru dilantik di dalam majlis resminya yang pertama iaitu sambutan Hari Raya Cina anjuran parti Gerakan di Ipoh.

'MB' Nizar dan barisan EXCO selepas mesyuarat Exco pada pagi ini di kediaman resmi menteri besar di Ipoh. Mesyuarat telah putuskan 4 perkara. Tak taulah pegawai kerajaan mana yang nak ikut.

................jadi la ni negeri kelahiranku ada dua (2) orang MB. Yang mana satu nak diikut oleh rakyat ni? Seorang yang baru dilantik oleh Paduka Seri Sultan Perak pada 6 Feb 2009 dan seorang yang telah dititahkan oleh Baginda supaya meletakkan jawatan.

yang peningnya adalah rakyat jelata. Akibat kemelut politik yang berlaku baru2 ni, ini kesudahannya. Di satu pihak menganggap titah Sultan perlu ditaati dan di satu pihak lagi menganggap ianya bertentangan dengan Undang-Undang Tubuh Kerajaan Negeri Perak.

apa pun itulah keistimewaan Negara kita yang masih menjunjung sistem Raja Berpelembagaan. Kalau kita orang Melayu sendiri sudah tidak mampu untuk taat kepada Raja, apakah rakan-rakan kita akan patuh dan taat kepada Raja / Sultan?

Saya tidak berpendapat begitu...

Perak New Govt

today, 6th Feb 2009 a new Menteri Besar was sworn in as the 11th Menteri Besar of Perak. He is Datuk Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir, ADUN Pangkor from BN.

It was due to the latest outcome in the Perak politic where there (3) reps have declared themselves as Independent Reps and the switching of camp by another rep who used to be in UMNO b4 and switched camp to PKR for 11 days.

the swearing in was carried out smoothly but the atmosphere outside the palace was difference as supporters of the previous govt were demonstating their anger. The Raja Muda car was also blocked and it saddened me as a Perakian as no respect was shown to the Malay Rulers or Sultan. Worst still the screen was broken.

the Sultan I believed has given his deep thought b4 mandate was given to the new govt and also for not dissolving the Dewan. Once used to be the Chief Judge, I'm sure the King has taken into consideration all aspects.

my only wish is to see the state to return to the normal situation it used to be and enjoyed by all the Perakian.

cerita ini timbul setelah riuh media massa dan elektronik menyiarkan berita ttg kehilangan dua org ADUN PKR dan berita perletakan jawatan mereka serta surat yang diterima oleh Speaker DUN Negeri Perak.

tak cukup dgn itu, penafian turut dibuat oleh kedua ADUN tersebut melalui sidang akhbar dgn kenyataan yang dibacakan oleh wakil mereka.

dah ada yang berangan nak jadi calun kalau ada by-election dan tentunya kedua pihak BN dan PR akan berusaha keras memenangi kedua kerusi tersebut.

acik dah kahwin

last friday we were among the thousands of travellers heading back to the North joining our Chinese friends for the massive traffic jam along the highway.

we were among the crowd for one purpose, not to miss my niece, popularly known as Acik wedding day. We reached my bro in law house by 11.30pm the same nite after taking almost one hour just to reach Jalan Duta Toll Plaza from my hse. It was a six hour drive.

most of the relatives were already there to assist in the final and last minute preparation. Acik was the daughter of my late and beloved sister,Siti Saebah.

the Akad Nikah ceremony started at 11.30 am at Padang Jeri Mosque (after being delayed by almost one hour as the Kadhi had another akad nikah) and being attended by relatives from both parties.

my bro in law couldn't controll his emotion when he was asked to 'wakilkan' the akad nikah to the kadhi. There were tears among some of us esp my two sister. Luckily my bro hj mansor was not there as things could become worst. ( i have to controll myself by taking pictures using my Nokia E 90).

Alhamdulillah, dgn sekali lafaz shj mereka sah menjadi sepasang suami isteri. And for sure, I lost another niece who used to be very close to me. My only prayer for them, May Allah kurniakan kehidupan yang bahagia sehingga ke anak cucu kpd mereka berdua.

the kenduri was great as most invitee turned up. Luckily the foods prepared were enough although the caterer has to top up.

the only question during the kenduri was, bila lagi engko nak terima menantu kim? Ni yang letih nak jawab.

he is the new member of the family. A stray cat that used to hang around our house and being feed daily by us (esp our maid), he has instill not only our care but also loved. He is being taken care off by all the members of the family now.
